The CEFR organises language proficiency in six levels, A1, A2, B1, B2, C1 and C2, which can be regrouped into three broad levels: Basic User, Independent User and Proficient User, and that can be further subdivided.
Each of these levels is defined through 'can-do' descriptors.
While learning a foreign language is a lengthy process that should not be artificially accelerated in order to guarantee optimal results, we have realised that for some clients completing just one level a year is too little, especially if they need to enter the labour market or take the A2 level exam to obtain Portuguese residency or citizenship.
We have therefore developed this special course which over a period of 9 months covers levels A1 and A2, while at the same time preparing students to pass the exam if they need to.
During one academic year - from October to June - this group meets three times a week for 2-hour lessons.
At the moment, this course is only available at school in Quarteira (Algarve). However, in case of interest, it will also be possible to attend it online in the future.
If you need to prepare for the CIPLE exam, but this course for some reason does not have the right structure for your personal case, you can always prepare for the exam in private lessons.
